So...who gets this problem?-- I try to write a story, but then I grow too attached to the characters of the story, and then I feel so sad when they meet anything bad. And this one guy? He has to die. I feel so sad thinking about him dying, but the story can't progress if he doesn't die... And that kind of gets in the way of the plot because I keep making stuff less and less harsh until it isn't even a story with the required elements anymore! Perhaps I'm more suited for romantic era poetry or victorian era plays :(. That said, does anyone have any help? Anyone know how to "detach from your character"?

Right, so I've been really inactive even though I said I wouldn't :(. I hope you guys realize that I'm not stopping my art or anything, I just haven't got a chance to keep up with it in a while.. I'll try to post up a couple that I've been working on for quite awhile simply because I can't finish them up :(. I hope you guys continue to support my art!

Hey! I've been really inactive lately on Deviantart (if you guys have notice :'O), as compared to about a month ago, when I had about 5 deviations up per day. Nowadays, I'm relieved to be able to complete 3 deviations over 3 days! Well, I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing to you guys that I'm not putting up so many deviations, but it also affects the progress and improvement of my skills, so please bear with the plateau of my learning curve :( I guess I should also give you a reason for all this inactivity.
